Every person evokes a different "feeling" because each has
his or her own personality. Artists try to capture that
feeling, that "spark" of life by using different styles
and lighting. In addtion, the different media used for
a painting or drawing will affect the feeling of the
image because each of the media has its own character.
This can be used to the artist's advantage to help capture
the personality of the subject.
